FIRST RECONCILIATION/FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Infant 2 boys and a small number of juniors made their first Reconciliation this week. We congratulate them and thank Mrs. Grace for preparing them so carefully and thoroughly.
The programme of preparation for First Holy Communion begins shortly and the first meeting for parents will be: TUESDAY 23rd FEBRUARY at 7.30 p.m. The second meeting is scheduled for WEDNESDAY 4th MAY at 7.30 p.m. and the children’s First Holy Communion takes place on SATURDAY 15th MAY at 10.00 a.m. in Holy Angels Church. We ask for your continued prayers for both parents and children.
PREP. ONE ASSESSMENTS
A second round of Prep. One assessments (i.e. for 7+ intake for September 2010), has been arranged for: WEDNESDAY 24th MARCH. If you have relatives or friends who may be interested in a place for their son, please ask them to contact the school for further information.
I should like to give you early warning of Parents’ Evening, which will take place on Wednesday 10th March. Children must not be brought into school for Parents’ Evening and this early notice will allow time to make whatever arrangements necessary.
The dates are:
Speech Day – Monday 29th March
(School closes at 12.00 noon)
Speech Day Holiday – Tuesday 30th March
(School closed all day)
HALF-TERM BREAK
May I please remind you that the school closes for the half-term break on: THURSDAY 11th FEBRUARY at the usual time. We open again for the second half of the Spring term on Monday 22nd FEBRUARY. I hope children and parents have a restful and enjoyable break.
